Apocalypse
It was strange, like a war. All terror and chaos. Gunmen were everywhere, firing bullets, landing rockets and throwing fire on the ground. Dark black smoke rising up to the skies. The city was burning.
It felt like the apocalypse, the end of the world.
I was standing on a tower, I don't know why or what I was doing there. As I looked down everyone was trying to escape in order to survive. People were chasing and killing each other. There was blood on the streets. Dark black smoke had covered the sky, like a storm was approaching.
Then some strange creatures began roaming in the sky and soon they started to descend down on the land. They were making awkward sounds, which were incomprehensible to me. They looked like demons.
It was like a dream, just more real.
I was scared and didn't see any way to escape. I was trying very hard to figure out the situation when I noticed a kid was standing next to me, he was holding my hands, and then he looked into my eyes and smiled. He was so calm and peaceful amid the terrifying chaos.
He said a lot of wise things to me;
'Reject each and everything that stops you from reaching your full potential, be it society, your family, friends or anyone else. Divine spirit is there to direct you, just have faith in yourself and your cause.'
In his company I felt alive, more alive, and life felt purposeful. He showed me the meaning of my existence. Then he started walking and I followed him. We went through a tunnel of very bright light. On the other side of the tunnel, it was a completely different world, so pleasant and quiet. I moved into this world leaving everything behind.
Now I was out in the fields, it was soothing and calm. I saw the plants dancing with the wind, birds flying and singing melodies. I felt the air and water, and remembered the old world. I feel sad for them.
In the meantime it started raining and I was now watching the plants soaking and sulking down.
I knew it was the end but strangely, what I felt was 'Relief'..
